More Than a Retreat: A Place Where Women Remember Who They Are

When people ask me what I do at our women’s retreats, I usually smile and say, “I wear a few hats.”

I’m the chef who prepares meals designed to nourish not just the body, but the experience. I’m also a workshop facilitator, guiding conversations that invite women to reflect, connect, and grow.

But what I really do is witness transformation.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching women arrive carrying the weight of everyday life; stress, uncertainty, burnout, grief, self-doubt, or simply the feeling that they’ve lost touch with themselves. And then, something remarkable happens.

It doesn’t happen because of one workshop or one meal. It happens because women are given something that’s increasingly rare: the time, the space, and the safety to simply be.

I’ve seen strangers become lifelong friends over shared meals around the table. I’ve watched women find the courage to tell stories they’ve carried in silence for years. I’ve witnessed tears turn into laughter, uncertainty become confidence, and isolation transform into belonging.

And somewhere along the way, these retreats changed me, too.

Being part of this community has reminded me that vulnerability isn’t weakness; it’s courage. It has shown me that healing often begins when we realize we’re not alone. It has deepened my belief that food, conversation, laughter, and shared experiences have an incredible way of bringing people together.

That’s why I’m so passionate about the partnership between Triple C Company and 3 Sister Wellness.

Together, we’re creating retreats that are about so much more than stepping away for a weekend. They’re about reconnecting with yourself, building meaningful relationships, and discovering the strength that comes from authentic community.

As the chef, I believe every meal tells a story. Gathering around a table creates space for conversation, connection, and comfort. Some of the most meaningful moments don’t happen during a scheduled workshop, they happen over breakfast, while sharing a cup of coffee, or lingering after dinner when no one is quite ready for the evening to end.

As a workshop facilitator, I’ve learned that the most profound growth happens when women feel safe enough to be honest. When one person chooses vulnerability, it gives everyone else permission to do the same.

That ripple effect is something I’ll never stop believing in.

Every retreat reminds me why this work matters.

It reminds me that women don’t need to be “fixed.” They need spaces where they feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

They need community.

And if there’s one thing these retreats have taught me, it’s this: when women come together with open hearts, incredible things happen.

That’s a gift I want to share with the world.
